In A Violent Nature is the new experimental slasher film told from the POV of the killer as he stalks his victims in the Ontario Wilderness. The movie is brutal, features some memorable kill scenes, and it's surprisingly fun. In this video, I'm spoiling everything about the movie including the infamous Yoga Kill scene. I think this movie is worth seeing in the theater with an audience, but it w...

Tarot is the new 2024 horror movie based on the 1992 young adult horror novel "Horroroscope." The movie centers on a group of college friends staying at a mansion where they find a creepy tarot deck. One of the friends reads everyone's horoscopes and unknowingly unleashes a curse on all of their lives. This horror movie very much feels like a YA version of Final Destination meets Thirteen Ghost...

Memorable Christmas Horror Final Girls
Thanks for sharing your holiday with us... It was quite fun, brought me back so many memories of being back in the states. I've been over twice now, the east coast really has a very different vibe to the west coast. And those new england towns are really cool...
Book is 10x scarier than the movie.
Slay made me laugh, I'll have to check out the other ones.
I need to watch Slay, looks like a real hoot !!! Have you seen the musical slasher Stage Fright ?
you might need to get dvd disc repair machine
From that list, I've only watched Huesera and Titane, but you've got me interested in checking out the other movies. Since you like found footage, I recommend the movie Hoax (2022), made by the drag queen duo Novympia, and it's available here on UA-cam.
Omg yes I love found footage - thank you!
Your hair looks so GOOD! Rift is a good, albeit slow, Icelandic movie. So is Knife + Heart!
Thank you! And thank you for those recs!
I really enjoyed Titane, great story. I've seen Slay's title card on Tubi, but thought it would be a waste of time. You've convinced me to watch it. Also looking forward to see Killer body count. Thanks.
I felt the same way about Slay and I’m so glad I gave it a chance
@@mandysmorgueofhorror Just watched Slay. It is hilarious. "These vampires , I think they're Celiac". lol. Thanks for great recommendation.
@@jaygarricktheflash 😂
Scream, Queen! is a good doc about Mark Patton. I'd also recommend Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker and Cannibal Man (nothing to do with cannibals, just a bad translation of the original Spanish title). These should all be on Tubi.
I really liked the Scream Queen doc! I still need to watch Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker
Thanks for the recs, I added a lot of them to my watchlist :)! I loved Swallowed and Huesera!
No.
So many great tips here, I'm gonna check all of them out! And re-watch Slay, that one was so much fun!
I loved Slay!
Titane is great. I have it on Blu Ray. I got a some great recs. The Shadowed Mind is about an institute for the sexually insane.A lady goes there to be cured of her flashing fetish. There are bisexual men in it. The weirdest part about it is the institute itself. It looks like a warehouse and an underground bunker fused together. All the windows are broken and the front gate is wrapped in barb wire, and no one acts like this weird! Very atmospheric. It a slow burn '80's slasher that acts like a '70s slasher. One of the weirdest horror movies I've ever seen. You got to see it! I loved it the second time I saw it. Jack and Diane is about two ladies who fall in love and it involves werewolves. Really freaky too. Both should be on Tubi.
Oh wow, these both sound interesting. Thanks for the recs!
Ravers (2020) was a fun LGBTQ zombie comedy. I thought High Tension (2003) was amazing. May (2002) is a really good slow-burn creepy horror where the MC is bi and her search for love leads her through relationships with a man and a woman. And the n the big one from last year, Knock at the Cabin, was really good.
I’ll have to check out Ravers! I also enjoyed Knock at the Cabin. The cast is amazing!
Have you ever seen Hell Bent? That’s a pretty good LGBT horror movie. It is sent on HALLOWEEN and i believe it’s from 2004.
No, I haven’t. Thank you for the rec!
Thanks again! 😀 A couple of months ago I went on a Tubi Gay Horror deep dive & was amazed at all the vampire titles featuring shirtless body builders with fangs & dyed jet black hair! 😆 The equivalent to pointy toothed ladies in low cut gowns I suppose... Titane? After the car sex scene NOTHING came as a surprise. 🤯 Always look forward to your videos Mandy! Hang in there.
Tubi has so many interesting movies 😂
Thanks for this! Can’t wait to watch the drag queen one! 🌈
It’s so much fun!
I'm used to watching movies with children in them, and like horror movies, they never usually bother me. I don't stay up thinking about it but holy shit. This movie made me want to hide from my mother, and I just can't get the idea of the poor, poor little boy getting his eyes stabbed by his mom, and then he says to his sister, please help me. That part bothers me so much because I have a little brother 😰
I had a soft spot for the little brother too, all I could think about was my little nephew. The stuff with the kids was upsetting
Tubi fuxking blows
The lead singer of disturbed 😂😂😂 subscribed now❤
Haha whenever he barks I just hear the beginning of “Down with the sickness” 😂 Thanks for subbing!
H20 is so good too 😭
I've read such short teeth a couple months ago and it's a really good book I really enjoyed it especially since it deals with my favorite supernatural creatures werewolves
I’ve watched them all, and I realized some of my favorite movies ever are home invasion horrors haha The Strangers and Them, for me, are the best
The three daughters of Satan are the main catalyst .
Another good video. I love these modern horror movies that have computer/internet as the main focus.
Eeee I’m so excited to read Black Sheep. Looking forward to any reviews or opinions you have! 🖤
I loved it!
Great video. I love trapped horror and road movies horror films.
You might want to check out ILS/Them. The Strangers is one of what I call horrific favorites and this comes real close to it.
Hush is one of my faves! I saw Funny Games for the first time recently and it was so disturbing even though there's not a lot of violence, it felt so real! I have to watch the remake, and your recs that I haven't seen, See For Me, Panic Room, Incident in a Ghostland and Haute tension
I love the genre specific (and all really) your vids, my all time favourite genre is Folk Horror and would love to see your take on it. You may have done it already but damned if I can find it. If you have then maybe Australian Folk Horror. We do it well. Alison’s Birthday is fantastic and basically the template for Hereditary with more low key humour.
I really like the second Strangers more. My favorite on this list is Don’t Breathe. I haven’t seen The Strangers Chapter 1 yet. I’m thinking about watching it.
I See You is sooooo good.
Thanks! Was looking for recommendations after obsessing over YJ
All... Great movies! But the mask, in the lower right corner of the screen... It looked very sad, because you didn't mention: Screaming... It's a joke! Super good selection! I would add... The Purge (2013). Honorable mention: Cape Fear (1991)
Another good video. I love horror movies.
Hangman 2015 is a found footage home invasion must watch! You will thank me later, I promise!
These kinds of movies can be pretty uncomfortable to watch, but when they're well-made, like the ones you recommended, it's worth enduring the spikes of anxiety. One home invasion movie I like is The Collector. Great video.
Hush and Incident in a Ghostland were both great. I need to see some of the others. One of my favorite home invasion horror movies ended up being Luther the Geek. It's about a weirdo who clucks like a chicken and has metal teeth. The actor's eyes are insane. He sneaks into a woman's car, and she inadvertently takes him home. I thought the movie was a horror-comedy based on the premise. It's not. It gets uncomfortably realistic. Being stuck in your own home with an absolute psycho like that is terrifying. And he can take his time because the woman lives on a farm with no one else around. The movie was put out by Troma, but there aren't many jokes in it, if at all. A surprisingly dark movie, even though the killer sounds goofy on paper. It's still on Tubi.
Sounds interesting
i would add H@te Crime (2012) for sure, it's currently on Tubi.
Just throwing in a classic, more on the thriller side: Wait Until Dark from 1967 with Audrey Hepburn. Such a great one 🖤
I still haven’t seen this one but I’ve been meaning to watch it!
@@mandysmorgueofhorror I think you'll really love it 😊
This one terrified me as a kid!
Yeah, Inside is one that's on my list of movies I'll probably never watch. I just can't deal with that kind of gore anymore. Absolutely love Hush! Can't wait for Flanagan to release it on disc and find a home for it on streaming after Netflix let the rights go.
Hush, Incident in Ghostland, I see you and Don't Breath are my favorites form your list. I'll try to catch See for Me. Seems interestingly unique. I'm hoping to eventually see The Strangers Chapter One. I enjoyed the first one. Great list and video.
For I See You they had a very clever script to work around with, ❤ that movie !! One of the best home invasion movies of the last decade is the Spanish one Kidnapped. My absolute favorite would be Fortress (1985) with Rachel Ward, is about a school that gets invaded my masked men...
I hadn’t heard of those! Thanks for the recs
